Just started injecting insulin, ten days ago. 77yo on metformin for many years. Seemed to take 7/8 hours for my last injection to affect BG levels. Then I remembered pressing down quite hard when doing the injection. Is this likely to affect the time it takes for the insulin to feed into the system?
