Hi,
I've just dropped my blood test monitor in the fire, I took it out it was cracked, wrinkled and hot. Waited for it to cool down a little and did a test as my only monitor. Do you think it is accurate?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Wouldn't like to say if its effected the accuracy of your meter, but I see you have type 1 diabetes which means you should always have a spare meter, ring your DSN up and ask if they can send one to you or you can collect one from the clinic, alternatively ring any of the meter manufactures and explain that you have type 1 diabetes and they will send one out to you free of charge.

Thanks, I do gave old ones but no strips for them, was planning on calling her in the morning but was curious of accuracy now.

Try and get two meters that use the same test strips, that way if one breaks you have still have test strips for the other, Accu-Chek meters are very good and a few versions use the same strips.
