Overnight hairloss??

Hi guys, I woke up today and I've noticed that some of the hair on my right leg has gone. It's strange, almost like a strip of it has been shaped off in the right of my right leg, from the bottom of my knee to my ankle.

I'm a bit concerned, has anyone experienced anything like this before?

I'm on holiday abroad for the next week (Australia), so won't be able to see my gp until Friday..
