Pancreas ultrasound

Morning guys and gals,

has anyone else been sent for an ultrasound of the pancreas?
 
Yes, if it is an EUS it is a very specialist ultrasound done endoscopically (down the throat) and is very good at seeing the pancreas close up, but if it is an abdominal ultrasound then unless you are very skinny it wont show up very well. I've had both these things done in relation to my diseased pancreas which I had totally removed just over a year ago.

its an abdominal ultrasound, I wouldn't say I was very skinny but not overweight either.
