It is pretty cool, a tin shed in the middle of nowhere with huge tracks set up. People can take their own cars or borrow The tracks are based on real ones, like Brands Hatch ( not that it means anything to me) and there are computer monitors counting the laps.

sounds great fun.

Still can't find mine, must have been chucked at some point, so I'll have to go and fen ind another one.

For me 7.5km run this morning and then wandering around town doing the shopping and taking my daughter to a ballet performance.

Not much walking today. Had to get up early and drive son to a nearby town as is taking part in the Cyprus Youth Chess Championship this weekend. Like other long suffering chess parents spent the rest of the day waiting patiently for our children to complete their games so that we can celebrate with them or console them depending on their result.

Son won two of his first three games, three more to go tomorrow!

So just under 4000 today, lowest this week.

I thought I was shooting a photo of these miniature irises in bloom in the hotel's lawn today and never realized I was actually shooting the portrait of a little frog. Did not check to see if he would turn into a prince!

I think running paces should count double as much harder to do than walking.

thankyou mate, it needs to or ill be walking 26 miles in flip flops

Did you go to the docs about your toe Andy?

A shameful 1254 for me today. I ate at the scaletrix place (veggie lasagne, veggie choice was minute) and had a 'carb coma' this afternoon. Awful, awful feeling and I used too feel like that a lot.
SO as I felt guilty about going to sleep I did some ironing. A hateful and, in my case, futile job. But not enough steps to count.

Fresh start tomorrow

no i was going to i swear, but it seemed to be getting better and i do hate the docs but i will make an appointment

Have decided to join in the pedometer challenge. My work did a 12 week challenge from September to December last year, and it was a great way of staying motivated. Since that challenge ended, I have managed to drop back into the same old routine of driving too much and walking too little.
So, it's time to change! I've dug out my fitbit, charged it up, and will be wearing it for the forseeable future!
