Hi,

I need to buy a new phone as mine is on the blink and no longer vibrates. I need one that is compatible with Libre 2 and Miao. There is a list somewhere but I can't find it. Anyone help please?
 
I am confused. Why do you need MiaoMiao compatibility if you have Libre 2?

because I want to have it as a CGM and not always have to swipe. The alarms on my phone don't work with the Libre alone

There are a number of options to make Libre a CGM without the hassle of the MM.
I think @anje and @Jaylee use something like Diabox.
I used xDrip+ but I get the impression the Diabox is easier to set up.

Hi.

It is true that you no longer need a MM with libre 2. (But if that’s what your used to.. No reason why not.) & If you are on a budget there are refurbished phones on the market that are more than capable of handling a Libre 2. I’ve used the Galaxy Note 9 & now the Note 10 plus’s. Impressive battery life on both, considering they are used in a “CGM” set up.

What are you currently using as a CGM app?

Looks like my punt on the aforementioned phones where correct for me..

To be honest, I don't know what I'm doing with the Miao miao actually I don't understsand how it works, nor my phone for that matter.
The Freestyle software is 2.8.4.9335 which doesn't appear on the link you sent. My OS is 10
For the MM I use Xdrip+ and Oop2 but again I've no idea what this is.
All I know is Libre2 alarm has never worked with my phone Samsung A20 so somehow I got a MM.
Since I dropped my phone, I've no alarms which scares me to death overnight. All I really want is an alarm and I'm afraid I'm just making my life more complicated. Any ideas of what to do?

Thanks @In Response . Do you still use Xdrip to make it into a CGM without Miao miao?
 

The Miaomiao is basically an NFC scanner like you would with your phone manually. (Or the Abbott reader.) But it sends the readings via Bluetooth directly to the xDrip app on your phone.
If you got the OOP2 apk downloaded? That is designed to hijack the Bluetooth signal from your sensor sending the data to xDrip

Technically, you don’t need to use the Miaomiao?

More importantly the loss of alarm on your phone. Is your phone still working after the drop? Is the sensor still talking to it, sending data reading to xDrip?
