Hi i was just wondering can a type 1 diabetic be a commercial pilot ?

If you live in the UK be prepared to spend about £100,000 to train to be a commercial airline pilot, I know as my son is one

Yes, a pilot with Insulin treated diabetes (type 1 or 2) can work as a commercial pilot.
I am one of them.
