Hello all

I am a type 1 diabetic since 2001, my most recent HBA1C was very good with an average blood suagr reading of 7.1

Recently i have had a few highs as i have started a new job and sometimes over drink fanta to prevent hypos (its a very high paced work environment). I have got pins and needles in my big toe for the last few days that doesnt go away, i can barely feel it when moving but when i lie down on my back or any side i can feel it clearly.

When i tough my toe it goes pink - white very quickly and my other toes arent affected. This numbnessy feeling started two days instantly (no slow build up).

What could this be?

Thank you for any suggestions.

New job = new shoes? Little known fact but 80% of foot problems are caused by footwear. Change back to some comfortable shoes and see if it improves. Give it a few days.

Could be Neuropathy?
