I have been getting pins and needles in my hands, arms, legs and feet for the last month when sitting down, is it a diabetes problem?

Hi would need to know more info,
How well is your diabetes controlled?
Are you on any medications?

It's not necessarily diabetes related. I often used to get very bad pins & needles in one hand and sometimes my arm too on waking, years before I became diabetic.

One thing that helped me, though, was to stop taking statins last year when my cholesterol levels had come down a bit.

It could also be a vitamin deficiency - folic acid (folate B9) comes to mind. Numbness and tingling in the feet and hands is one symptom of this.
