It always amazes me how it takes years of work to reach this point. The dedication to keep moving forward, to keep funded.
But how will it help those too poor to afford it ? Those that can most benefit from this whizz-bang device in all its well-deserved brilliance will be the well-to-do in a land (the US) where some people struggle to afford insulin and others succumb to the lack of it. The hypocrisy is overwhelming.
Invest in diabetes technology by all means but save something to put it where it is most needed.
The term 'the common good' seems lost on that society.
