when do you usually notice the spike? i had 2 slice at 1:00 this afternoon and people told me it can spike later on but was wondering how long after roughly >.<

I dont eat pizza very often but generally when i do its around 6pm and bg is almost on target at bed time but by morning they have risen by up to 4 -8 mmol. The reason i rarely eat Pizza

I seem to be a weird one when it comes to pizza, rarely eat it (once every few months) but I never get a spike.

mines finally coming down think i will have to change my site tomorrow as it seems to be slower >.<

Vary's from person to person and it is only by trial & error do you find out when your bg spikes from high-fat foods like Pizza.

As your using a pump you can do a dual-wave bolus for such meals, meaning you bolus some upfront and extend the rest of the dose over many hours (depending on the effect the meal has on your bg levels).

I just don't like to touch pizza. Like chips/fries... Long after I've forgotten the temptation, it's come back to bite me in the **** the following morning...
I'm on MDI. I'm lucky if I "treat" myself to it (or fries for that matter.) twice a year.. But the just me though.. Lol.
