Yesssss. Now down to single digits on my BG for 2 weeks now nearly on that 7 mark. Apart from a couple of spikes due to my occasional luxuries (Chocolate mmmmmmmm) I am really pleased to say that as I was reassured when I was a new newbie am getting control from the 20s now to about 8.4 thanx all for advice.
Bgs will continue to reduce but at a slower rate, but eventually you will get to where you want to be.
One or two squares of 80% dark chocolate (Lidl) eaten after a meal have little effect on my BGs, some other chocolate has to much sugar to even consider.
