Who's going to be watching the new Poldark, and will it live up to the hype?

Oh definitely - although I will already have to iplayer the first episode as I missed the start. I loved the original series and the new Ross was good in that series as a vampire. Don't remember the name. Brain fog!

I wasn't planning to watch it but it was on in the background, caught my attention and that was it, I was hooked, Very watchable period drama and some nice eye candy too

Aiden Turner...........Yummy!

I didn't see it, watched BBC 2, Top Gear, then BBC 4, A wolf called Storm and then after that, a very harrowing account about the young newly diagnosed doctor who was brutally 'assaulted' and thrown from an an Indian bus, it brought tears to my eyes, Storyville, India's daughter., so sad and horrific. If can get to watch this programme, then do try and yesterday was Women's International day too.
ps sorry for the slight derailment Chris.

Didn't watch any telly last night, as we went round to a neighbour's for dinner. Had a very nice meal, most of which was T2 friendy, and several glasses of wine. If I'd stopped there, it would have been fine but our host got out the Sloe Gin for Mrs hay-char and his wife and the Scotch for the two of us. At the time, it seemed like a good idea, and an even better one every time I got a top up, but at 7.00 am this morning - not so much

About to watch the Monday night repeat of last night's Top Gear. It won't be quite the same as usual because No 1 Son and I usually do a bit of father/son bonding by watching it together, but he saw it last night, of course, so consequently I'm on my own.....

Was it Being Human?

Love sloe gin, a friend in the New Forest makes it each year and it's yummy. Trouble is, because it tastes sweet it doesn't feel alcoholic - until the next morning

I thought it was pretty good, and I hope the rest of the series keeps it up. Great acting, great scenery

I had a quick look at his books. Maybe with all the publicity I might find one in Waterstones to check it out. I'm not sure if it was him or his wife diagnosed with type 2

His smouldering good looks and hairy bare chest exposed made me want to vom, but her eyes lit up like blackpool illuminations, i think its a girl thang, is there any football on?

I succumbed and watched the first episode then realised it was amazing and now i'm hooked, i just watched the 2nd episode on iPlayer and i can hardly wait for Sunday. Not liking Elizabeth but Demelza has got to get it on with Ross imo. Love the scenery and coastlines that are set in Cornwall too. I'm planning an extended visit to the place soon and im sold on the place. Roll on Sunday.

Hi Chris I am recording it all and look forward to watching it ....kat x
