Anyone tried pomegranate tea? The last 2 days I've a had a couple of cups a day and had the worst hypos ever.
During the day I barely eat , so don't need to inject and bs is always stable ~ 5.2 mmol.
Since drinking the aforementioned tea I've been dropping to ~2.7 mmol. I stuff my face with wine gums eventually go back to nominal levels and 30-45 mins later I'm back to ~2.7 mmol. Initially I thought it was a sensor issues, but finger pricks confirmed it to be real. Yesterday I didn't bolus at all and it was still happening.
I've never heard of pomegranate tea mentioned in diabetic circles , it should come with a warning.
