Possible misdiagnoses of type 2? LADA instead?

Why can’t they re diagnose? It happens all the time and it makes a difference in the nhs what tech etc you can access

If blood glucose monitoring Is normal and doesn’t align with hba1c (and the type 1 tests are not confirming type 1/LADA either) it may be that you have a condition that makes hba1c inaccurate. Some blood conditions including some types of anemia, sickle celll etc affect the turnover or shape of red blood cells which in turn affects how much glucose has effected them. The hba1c is based on normal shapes and lifespan whichms9metimes simply isn’t accurate. A fructosamine test could be used or even an old fashioned OGTT that used to be used before hba1c replaced it.
