Possibly better recipes with the help of an AI

Last couple of weeks I've been experimenting with what foods I'm okay with and what to skip.

I used to make "greek" inspired salad lunch boxes for work but they started to get a bit boring. So i've started to do meal prep in the weekend as a timesaver. It doesn't have to be a hot lunch, I'm okay with eating meals like this Gochujang Glazed Beef & Vegetables (without rice) cold. I just need to skim the fat.

I've been feeding Chatgpt recipe url's and asking it to check the nutritional values are right or how to make it better for diabetes. It's also able to help with removing/replacing the high carb stuff or what to change to add more protein.

glad your experiments are working out for you and made the foods less boring

Would be a little careful if choosing to use ai for nutritional values and ensure to cross check against them if basing decisions on its output. main reason is that in differing countries can use different methods. eg in usa carbs for instance is total carbs. where as the uk list those as net carbs. some countries have different methods for various info so you have if needing more exact. eg usa say usa 100g = 59g carbs 16g fibre where as same for uk would list as 100g = (59-16) = 43g.

fully agree it can come up with some interesting replies just need to be aware requires to be checked if taking any possible hypo inducing meds such as insulin.

We use AI at work to assist in the analysis of incidents. Most of the time the result is good, but its not without flaws.

I agree that double checking is always a good thing as I've found some so called low carb recipies that kindly forgot to add the nutricional value of the rice

nutricional value of the rice
have you tried swapping rice for cauliflower rice? works well imo for some curries, by itself rather bland spruced up with some herbs & spices i find it very pleasant. (around 3g netcarbs per 100g weight cooked) take out a little earlier otherwise ends up like mush. microwave takes around 2 and a half mins for mine nice n quick

Mods would like to remind members that posting ChatGPT & AI generated text is against forum rules, B10 applies, this is because the information generated cannot be relied upon to be correct & is not considered a reputable source of information

Thank you for your cooperation

Didn't know about the rule but @grantg and I both agreed that double checking is the most sensible way with any AI

No problem though
