Hello! T1 diabetic.
Could anyone help me on the issue of post meal spikes? My control is very good ( Last HB1AC was 40, I also have a Freestyle Libre sensor )
What I've noticed is that my BS is sometimes spiking high after meals and falling quickly ( not all the time, but some )
I know it's a lot to do with the GI content of food and other factors, but do any other pump users have advice? ( I have an Omnipod )
I want to try and limit the amount of post meal spikes I'm having.
Are there any good low GI books available?
