Thought I had ODeed on Xmas fare but the nurse, bless her, said I have type 2 lurgy.
It's comforting to discover I am not alone  . I'll take a couple of days to digest as much of this site as I can and then ask all the same questions that you folks have answered many times before, please feel free to post links to previous threads where necessary ( no spell check).

My name is David, I live in North Norfolk, I have a wife and two grown up children, they'll always be children, wont they :?:

Hi David and welcome to the forum. It must have been a shock  Have a good read and ask any questions you want. Try using the search engine. Just to help you get started here is some basic information given to newbies by the Forum Monitors:

Welcome on board, David. You're in a GREAT position having only recently been diagnosed - I had YEARS of trial and error before I found this site (I'm T2 too). I'm sure you can manage your T2 in such a way that you'll never need to take medication to control it.

Make sure you take full advantage of our collective experience. Anything you're not sure of, just ask. PM me any time.

Cheers,
-Pat.
