Hi I had a letter from my gp to say I needed to make an appointment with the diabetics nurse to discuss my raised blood sugar levels I have been pre diabetic for quite some time, does this mean I'm diabetic as I'm confused and my appointment isnt for a week x
Hi there @Zeptra86
I think until you have met with the nurse and been given further clarification , it is very hard to speculate.
for the time until your appointment it would be best to carry on doing what you do now.
Have you recently had a blood test that may have prompted the letter? If so, you could always ring the surgery and ask for the result. This would give you some information before your appointment and give you chance to work out what to say. Forewarned is forearmed! Otherwise it is just a matter of being patient until your appointment.
Hi yeah I've been having blood tests every month or so and if high repeated every 2 weeks, last month's test was only 1 point off being diabetic, I did phone surgery she said to wait until I see nurse x
