Hi All,
If someone has morning (fasting) readings that are mostly in the prediabetic range (5.7-6.5), but their HBA1C regularly comes up 'normal' (under 40), are they 'prediabetic' or 'normal'?
I'd greatly appreciate if someone could share actual medical advice that they have received in a similar situation.
Thanks in advance
This past spring, after 18 months of great success on the keto diet, I tested my fasting blood sugar on my home glucose monitor for the first time in many months. The result shocked me. I had purchased the device, which also tests ketones, when I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes in the fall of 2015.
