The National Diabetes Support Team are holding an Open Space event to share ideas and discuss how they can successfully support a woman’s journey through pregnancy from the pre-conception through to postnatal phase. The event will take place on Thursday 4 December at the Church House Conference Centre in Westminster, London from 9.30am - 4.30pm.
We are particularly keen to gain the views of women with diabetes (and their partners) on how services could be improved. We are looking for women who have had gestational diabetes, who have Type 1 diabetes and have been pregnant in the past and also women with Type 1 diabetes who are planning to start a family in the future. If you are interested in attending or would like to have a chat about the day, please contact Kerrianne O'Rourke at Diabetes UK .
Phone: 0207 424 1000(x1210)

Any travel costs incurred in attending the event will be reimbursed.
Just to let you know, there are still places available for this event.
We are eager to hear from anyone with diabetes who is planning to start a family in the near future, who has been pregnant in the past or who has developed gestational diabetes. Even if your experiences are not recent, you will still be able to make valuable contributions to the day.
