problems with insulin treatment -- design help

hi all,

im a product designer, starting my final major project at university, and im looking into the problems associated with using insulin treatments, If anybody has time to post up some of the problems they encounter when using insulin treatments regularly, i would be extremely grateful.

If you read through the posts you may get an idea yourself.

some problems that could be sorted out by a designer are:

identifying the different types of insulin vials via colour/writing/pens
visibility of the doses on a pen injector/counting the units for visually impaired people
improvement in design of blood testing lancet devices to give less pain
