Type 1 Problems with lantus solostar pen?

There seems to be a few posts on the internet about this.

From the websites I've read through googling the issue, there doesn't seem to be any good answer. I don't have any personal experience with the pen so I'm afraid I can't help you any more than this.

I've had this happen too where the pen jams half way through the injection but never had any issues with Solostar cap.

Take the pen back to the pharmacy for a replacement but you can also report faulty drugs/medical equipment using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme:

Ditto. It happened in Spain last week and I only took one with me so I had to buy a box of five - 50 euros. I left the faulty one with the chemist. I took two back to the UK and that meant throwing out the other three Spanish ones. One of the Spanish ones too now isn't working.

This and BD Autoshield needles that often won't work is doing my head in .....
