Product labelling in the UK

N17

Newbie
I will be in the UK later this year (from Australia). Do any foodstuffs in the UK have their GI value on the packaging? The concept has been around her in Australia for a few years and more and more products are carrying gi values (some are misleading though!). As the first order of business for me is usually a visit to Tesco, I was wondering if there was any help for us out there.

Cheers

Brian

G'day and welcome to the forum,

As far as I'm aware very few, if any, food manufacturers indicate the GI value of their foods on the packaging - it isn't a legal requirement over here.

Regards, Tubs.
