Proud mum

My daughter is 13 and has been type1 for 18 months, since diagnosis she has gone all out to prove that this will In no way stop her from living a full and active life. She has excelled at school and in all areas of sport and dance and tonight was awarded Sports Women of the Year and presented with a special award for excelling in sport and not letting health issues get in the way. I cannot begin to tell you how proud I am. She is a true inspiration.
