Psyllium Husks

Hello!

Could anyone recommend a brand of psyllium husk that doesn’t turn baked goods purple? I’m getting very into my low carb baking experiments and plan to inflict them upon friends when we’re allowed to mingle again but could do with some husk that doesn’t make the breads I’m experimenting with go that weird, off putting shade of purple.

We are buying psyllium husk from amazon.co.uk.

The last we bought is:
Naturale Bio
Psyllium in Bucce
Biologico
Purrezza 99%
1kg
(Organic Psyllium Husk 99% Purity)
that comes in a light brown paper bag with a
picture showing a heap of psyllium husk.

There are smaller 200g bags too.

We used it for making dietdoctor.com hotdogbuns and they came out very nice. Not purple.

Just goto amazon.co.uk and search on 'psyllium husk' and you will get many matches. Check the 1 and 2 stars user ratings for purple bread warnings.

Thanks! I had a look on Amazon yesterday but was finding nothing too helpful (lots of purple complaints in the reviews!) I'll have a search for the one you've recommended.
