Hello, my doctor has said that he is happy to refer me for a pump and I am going to the hospital in a couple of weeks where the nurse has said that she will show me a pump and get me to sign some paper work.
I want to know what will happen next, will I have to have an interview?
If the hospital have recommend me could I still be rejected?
Is there anything else I should know?
Thanks

Once your Endo has agreed that there's a clinical need for you to change to a pump the forms will be sent off to be approved for funding from the PCT, from reading around the net (and from what I was told personally) it's very unlikely that funding would be refused.

My very recent experience was as @noblehead described - the fact that my endo referred me seemed to be a substantial step forward. I don't know if anyone can still be refused - but in my case I've literally just done the process you're about to and the nurses were lovely and I was approved
