I just had a call to book my pump assessment! It's ages away but am so pleased to have a date as I was so worried the referral would not be accepted.
5 months away but I don't mind waiting so long as I have the opportunity eventually. Getting my DAFNE update and CGM set up in the next few weeks is good as the secretary said this will speed things up after the assessment.
Just wanted to share as I have had a rubbish few days (poor me / I hate diabetes day!) so it's nice to wake up to some positive news for a change.
Anyone who has had an assessment, can you let me know what to expect? They said the app is very long and detailed but would like an idea of what will happen and any questions I should ask.
