Pump sites

Evening all. I don't post very much so I apologise if this has already been discussed.

I have been on the pump since September and I am a changed person. My hba1c is really improving.

However I am wondering where else I could put my canula? I currently use my stomach and I am am unsure of where else I can put it.

Hi lee,
Can use stomach, sides of stomach area, but away from belly button area, outer thighs, top of outer arms, bum.

Stomach its meant to be quickest absorption area,so may need different rates for diff areas.

I've only used my sides for cannulas but Ive not tried anywhere else yet. I'm 28 weeks pregnant and only had pump for 2 months so not been able to use stomach yet and feel abit nervous about using legs and arms but I really need to try. I used to inject in my sides though pre pump so get no pain at all using this area.
