Hi everyone, these questions intended for all those people using the various GLP - 1 medications: Ozempic, Trulicity, Bydureon etc. How long did it take for the usual side effects - primarily nausea and diarrhea - to pass? If you had stop taking the medication because of this, did you try another one in this group and was that more successful?
I was given Victoza nine years ago and had to stop after a month - the diarrhea it gave me and general stress I suffered because of it were just awful. Recently I was asked to give Trulicity a try - I took the starting dosage for a month and don't think my stomach will be able to handle the regular dose. So I am wondering whether to keep trying or just accept that my digestion simply can't handle any GLP - 1.
