Hi I started testing blood glucose yesterday and I have been given various times over the next few days to test eg before lunch, before dinner. How far before lunch/dinner would that be? Sorry if this is a stupid question.
And you want to be aiming for a less than 2 mmol/l rise.. the less rise the better. If it rises more than 2 mmol/l then there is probably something in the meal that spikes your blood sugar and will be best avoided in future.
