Just a light hearted question really.........

Is there a song that, no matter what mood you are in, how low you are feeling, that you can listen to and feel immedietly lifted. It brings a smile to your face and can help forget about other things for a while?

Mine is always Tin Soldier by The Small Faces, the song blew me away first time I heard it and still continues to do so.

please have a watch/listen and tell me what you think...

Mine would have to be ,
The winner takes it all by abba.
Imagine by john lennon.
It'll be alright by kennyg and peabo bryson.

If I'm down, I like the Gymnopedies by Erik Satie. No words, but just haunting music.
For more modern music with words,"Bridge over Troubled water" works quite well. Simon and Garfunkle's album was pretty much the first gift my now husband ever bought me. Even before my engagement ring

Any type of music thats fresh and energetic can lift me, but yes Abba songs never fail

Eeerrrrrrr not me stevie, but ( The film, Muriels wedding, had alot of Abba music in it because, Toni Collette, the actress who played Muriel, was besotted with Abba) and she and her friends rendition of Waterloo, whilst on holiday, was fantastic, its a brilliant film RRB

ahh ok, have not seen the film

Seems a bit too much of a chickflick for me :?

Aaawww let your feminine side come through, it is a funny Australian film and Toni Collett is brilliant in it, trust me, I'm not a doctor  RRB

now I could start let that "side" out and watch the film, but the next thing I know I will be wearing fake tan, leopard print underwear, false eyelashes and UGG boots!!

Nessan Dorma Luciano Pavarroti

I've just got a new theme song, which when I play it I cannot sit still, have to dance, even in the car. I LOVE IT.

Follow - Crystal Fighters (yes its from an ad ...)

Hmm..this has got me thinking! (and by the way -Abba? eeek, no..)

Anything that moves my mood from a sad or dark place will do so in no particular order..

Elbow - Day like this, Freebird - Lynyrd Skynyrd, Baker Street - Gerry Rafferty..

How many are we allowed?

as many that affects how you feel....

In fact I will add a few more

Afterglow - The Small Faces
5:15 - The Who
Alive and kicking - Simple Minds
What is and what should never be - Led Zeppelin
Green Onions - Booker T and the MGs

Booker T and the MGs, I never thought I would see that posted, brilliant  Do you have it on vinyl?

and another all time favourite of mine, Ravels Bolero the full version, so quite in the beginning and then louder and louder until the thunderous ending, magnificent I LOVE MUSIC RRB
