Ramipril & itching

I suffer from high blood pressure and currently take Atenolol and Ramipril but have just had the Ramipril increased from 5mg to 10mg a day and am now starting to get itching. It was mainly when I went to bed but is now getting worse and affecting me during the day (there is no visible rash or spots associated with it)

Any one else on this medication and having similar problems ?

Go back and mention the itching to your gp, there are alternative bp meds available. I've been on Ramipril for several years and not had any side-effects to date.
 
hi,
i get like this with some meds and its the colourants in the different types, maybe try a different brand next box see if it helps, in the meantime see your gp if it carries on
