If you dial the pen to the number of units, insert the needle into your skin and push down the button but THEN (once you've pushed the button down but whilst the needle is still inside you) re-dial an extra unit(s) and press again, will that extra unit(s) still get properly delivered?

I can't see why not but just wanted to double check! I needed 3 units this morning but only dialled 2 and thought I could redial the extra unit without having to pierce the skin again.

Yes it will get delivered, I can't see a reason why it wouldn't as the needle is already primed.

Yes it does, have done a few times.

I've done that before and thought the same as you, but just tried it with my pen without it being injected and it squirts ok lol

I did this before and assumed it would be ok.

It used to be my Lantus that I ended up setting the wrong level with and needed to add extra in to.

Yes it does and I too have done this. Of course be aware that you can end up moving the needle around a bit so it causes me to bruise sometimes.

Theoretically yes it will get delivered fully.

The only reason it wouldn't is if, for some reason, there is a blockage in the needle, from like skin, or maybe blood or something else?
