Is 9.2 two hours after eating
And 6.1 in the morning too high
When ever I have checked before I've always been 4.5 ish
When I spoke to doctor he said that's fine I've been drinking more and after 7 hours sleep I wake up for an hour then want to sleep again other signs have been thrush like symptoms but doctor thinks its nothing as readings under 11
Getting old and everything that goes with it. All the repeats on TV. The drongos who ring me up to sell me things. Religious havens for pedophiles and war-mongers.
Hello @chris4171 .6.1 is good for a diabetic 4.5 is for non diabetics morning readings can be normally high and the machines are not that accurate anyway.
Make sure the site is clean - a tiny amount of contamination will send the reading high. The strip could also be a dud.
Diabetics on insulin should not go under 7.0 average or they may go too low (hypo) and pass out hurting themselves or others.
Check your diet for excess major carbs or total carbs and try to get a routine going and it should all become predictable and easy.
9.2 after 2 hours is prob OK but you can do better watching those carbs they are what send us high.
