I use recipes from this site, too. They are actually quite good. If I didn't have my treats I don't think I could stick to the Keto plan, or any plan for that matter. I was a sugar/flour addict, I'm sure. The only thing about it is I can't find a good bread that will toast properly, like real flour bread. I miss my toast. And, I miss a good tea biscuit/scone. I've tried some, however, can't quite compare to the real thing.
I can't really help you out on the toast or scone front. Bread never really bothered me, although a sandwich could be so incredibly convenient.
I make a mean scone (my cheese scones are legendary on the family), but I have never tried to LCify them.
Have you tried the Lidl high protein rolls? I found them to be OK,but not manna from heaven. Since having to go gluten-free, that removes any temptation. Trust me, it removes any bread or cake temptation!
They are not 'real' bread, but my goodness they hit the spot (for me). I make them in one of the four inch wide ramekins, slice them horizontally and toast them. They also freeze and will toast from frozen.
Mine turn out exactly like the picture http://www.sugarfreemom.com/recipes/2-minute-low-carb-english-muffin/
