Restless legs...

I started with the RLS and went for a google link tour of the other stuff, there is a lot to it, all of it no good

Same here, it's great news when someone reaps the benefits from the home rememdies, but, didn't work for me. It would be wonderful if we didn't have to take prescribed drugs, but I wouldn't be without the Ropinirole

I take one Quinine tablet (from GP) an hour before bed. Works a treat and also helps prevent cramps.

Hi,

I was just reading the book Keto-Adapted by Maria Emmerich yesterday, and was interested to see the author made a number of references to her patients experiencing restless leg.

The two things I remember her mentioning are that use of antacids (indigestion tablets) and/or an under active thyroid can cause restless leg.

May be worth checking out.

I have recently begun suffering and can empathise totally with your problem, having spent yet another night in the spare room, I take so much medication already due to retinopathy, neuropathy, fibromyalgia and other problems that I am hesitant to raise the issue with my DSN or GP but having read through this thread I will be looking into things at my next appointment as I didn't even know there was anything but 'old wives tales' to help. Hope you've also found an answer and that from now on you can sleep well. I'll keep everyone posted as to what my consultant and DSN's say later in the month.
Keep well and stay positive.
Chris.
