Yes, your A1c is non diabetic and a good one too. I would just take this as a warning because our fasting bloods are very unreliable at the best of times. For a start, when you have fasted your liver dumps glucose in your system to help you get going. Then you have to go out, get to the surgery, and worry about what will happen. This is all stress. Stress raises blood sugar levels. We all react differently to these situations, but it does make fasting tests done at surgeries very unreliable. For these reasons I wouldn't worry too much. Your HbA1c is a better and more reliable indicator, but no harm in lowering the carbs and exercising more as this will also improve your general health.
