So sorry to hear that Christine. I can empathise. recently had a cataracts op together wirth an avastin injection tto sop the retinal bleeding. Nothing stops my retinal bleeding. I was almost totally blind in the eye which was operated on because of the disease and previous procedures.Ceesharp said:I haemorrhaged suddenly in both eyes just over two years ago. I had extensive lasering, vitrectomies on both eyes, and then some more lasering. Apart from losing my night vision I have been fine since, and resumed my Open University studies. I saw the specialist for a check-up four weeks ago and everything was fine.
I've just (5 hours ago) haemorrhaged in the right eye. I'm typing this in the middle of the night because I am unable to sleep. I'm a bit upset, to put it mildly.
I suppose I'll have to change my login name now.
Christine
