Hope you can help as I freaking out. I had my annual diabetic eye test in January that was clear
But then i had my baby boy in May & have since had post pregnancy diabetic eye test that hospital letter showed signs of eye disease but not enough to require treatment at present.
During pregnancy I used insulin, did regular blood testing & attended fortnightly clinic where they seemed happy with my daily results. So am bit confused by latest eye test results.
What are other peoples experiences ?
Could it be/have been pregnancy as I did contract pre eclampsia which included high blood pressure which I read can affect eye conditions. Pregnancy is only thing that happened in 6 months since my January check?
Even my gp is surprised as my post pregnancy hbac1 showed good control of sugar ie last result 38.
