I was on metformin for many years until it caused gastro intestinal problems.
Now I take double the amount of insulin with the weight gain from unused insulin stored as fat.
Never been overweight.
Soon it will be 3 months away from metformin and am thinking of returning to it in the hope my body will accept it.
Have others tried this ?
