Hi all,

I am diabetic type 1, 45 years of age and diabetic since 1986. Recently I have been changed from Lantus to Levimer insulin. I find I require more Levimer than Lantus! I also take novorapid, Glucophage along with the usual aspirin and cholesterol tabs. Just saying hi to everyone who reads this and hope you all are keeping well with diabetes I am delighted to be back!

My DSN said most people who change from lantus to levemir find they need to inject more insulin, I briefly changed over several years ago and found this to be the case.
