I'm not sure I'd leap to the complications label, just yet. Bearing in mind my eyes were examined again about 2-3 weeks later, with zero found, any one of us could have a transient issue and never know.

At the time, I had a long chat with my friend's husband, who is an Opthalmologist, with a special interest in Diabetes, who reassured me there's a lot of folks walking around with transient issues - could be BP, steroids, trauma, to name just a few reasons, and never have a clue.

Sometimes timing is our friend, and sometimes timing throws a spanner in the works.
