Hi everybody, because I am being treated for Myesthenia Gravis with a lot of steriods I am now type 1 diabetic. I am looking for a way to sweeten rhubarb crumble safely. Any Suggestions? I am hoping that as my steriods doses are decreased i may be able to go back to being treated with Metformin and diet.
There are a range of commercial sweeteners that you can cook safely with. I've used Splenda, other members report success with products like zsweet and candarel.
