For the past 3 days I have had a sneezy coughing miserable cold. My readings are in the high teens, even though I am eating less. Is this due to the cold virus? Should I increase my insulin?

It is down to your cold, any type of illness and stress tends to elevate bg levels.

Your a type 2 on insulin lyn and I've no idea what insulin you take, but with type 1's we follow what they call the Sick Day Rules whereby we increase our insulin doses by 10-20%, if your bg levels are still high in the morning then you should ring your diabetes care team and ask them what you should do with regards to your bg levels and increasing your insulin doses.
