Rule of 15, my ****.


It must be some NHS rule as I got told exactly the same when I got my pump in July. Don't follow this rule myself though. Glad you got yourself sorted

At a rough count I have been in a hypoglycemic coma 6-8 times in 18 years. Most of them were in the early years. The last one was about 3 years ago. It is a very unpleasant experience. The last seconds before unconsciousness are pure panic, terror even. And a significant risk of death, apparently - I never knew, but I learned here. I actually heard it on DAFNE first in the Q&A, but didn't believe the stats.
