distilled drinks i.e. spirits should all be OK, as the sugars are either fermented out, or left behind in the still, so vodka, gin, whisky, rum, brandy etc
Dry white wine, dry red wine, very little residual sugar, also dry vermouth, dry sherry
Beers tend to have some residual sugars, lagers less so than bitter
Personally I'll be avoiding port like the plague as it's hellish sweet partially fermented wine with brandy added.
I'm going to be acting as barman this year again, so while I'll be making a whole range of cocktails I'll be sticking to those without sugar syrup, fruit juices or sweet flavoring alcohols like rosso vermouth, grenadine, creme-de cassis etc.
