Type 2 Salt taste in mouth

Hi I'm type 2 for the past couple of days now I've noticed a horrible taste of salt in the mouth and around my lips I've been having terrible sinus problems lately and I notice when i blow my nose there's tiny bits of blood coming out anyone else had this issue is this caused by the diabetes
 
If you are having sinus problems like this. it would be best to consult your doctor as there maybe infection and or inflammation of the sinus and treatment may be required I don't know if there may be a link with your diabetes or not to be honest.
