I air pop my popcorn and I use olive oil in a spray bottle to lightly coat
the popcorn. I make my own flavouring minus the salt. I use onion powder,
garlic powder, chili powder, chipolite, smoked paprika and a dash of
splenda sweetener just to take the edge off. I make the mixture ahead
of time and keep it in a shaker in the cupboard. I also use this as rub
on pork and chicken..
I too am a fan of salted popcorn & can quite easily polish off a bag on my own sometimes!! If you enjoy it go for it! Just make sue you allow for it. I would snack on the microwave bags when I was doing my dissertation
