I read about this with great interest.

So I hunted it down (Googled it) and found out that I will NEVER pay any attention to it.

POTATOES, BROWN PASTA & PORRIDGE are at the VERY TOP of the Satiety Index.

POTATOES!!! PASTA!!! PORRIDGE!!! (All the P's - you could even include POISON in there!)

This thing makes the Glycemic Index look like rocket science!!!

Beware the Satiety Index!
 
I know you sign yourself as an x-Carboholic Patch, and i have read many sites which advise against carbs, at least as the majority portion of your diet. I find it very hard not to eat carbs, for many reasons. And I wonder, is it the portion size of carbs that bring the bg high at a relatively larger portion of say, legumes, or is it the fact that carbs are sugars? After all sugars in small quantities are necessary even in diabetics.
 

Shows we are all different. I can eat all those in moderation. An interesting one is that fish has a higher satiety index than meat.
